Michael A Kessler

Michael A. Kessler, 60, of Girard, passed away on Monday, December 9, 2019 at Select Specialty Hospital, in Youngstown. Michael was born October 30, 1959 in Youngstown, Ohio, the son of John and Barbara (Johnson) Kessler Sr. Michael was a 1978 graduate of Girard High School and had previously worked for McDonald Welding. He was a member of Woodland Park United Methodist Church in McDonald, and the Eagles Lodge #2172, of Girard. He Loved listening to music, especially the Gaither Brothers, and fishing. He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother Barbara, of Girard, brother, John (Dolores) Kessler Jr. of Girard, sister Laura MacGregor, of Girard, nephews, Charles Kessler Jr., Jason Kessler and Cain McGregor, great-nephews, Skevos Mohn, Drake MacGregor and John Cain MacGregor, and his special ( former sister-in-law), Ethel Rivera. Besides his father, he is preceded in death by his brother Charles Kessler Sr. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 13th, 11:00 AM at Blackstone Funeral Home. The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Michael will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
