Olga Tatalovich

Olga Tatalovich, 96, formerly of Girard, passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2020, at Park Vista Nursing Care Center. Olga was born September 21, 1923, the daughter of Nicholas and Anna (Milanovich) Metrovich. She was a faithful member of Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, in Youngstown, where she had been the choir director. Olga had a passion for singing which began in her childhood. She had a beautiful voice which was enjoyed by many. Olga loved singing for the church, the USO, Youngstown Philharmonic choir and Youngstown Madrigal singer. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Alan (Maggie) Tatalovich, of Girard, Christine (Eugene) Baker, of Columbiana, Melanie (Peter) Borkovich, of Canada and Paula (Terry) Forrest, of Newton Falls, a sister, Natalie Skarica - of Farrell, PA, nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Milan Tatalovich, whom she married February 16, 1947 and died March 25, 2001, and her brothers, Rudy Mamula and William Metrovich. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd, 11:00 AM, at Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 54 Laird Ave., Youngstown, Ohio. The family will receive relatives and friends from 9:00 AM until the time of service. Olga will be laid to rest at Belmont Park Cemetery, next to her husband.
