Theresa J. (Scaglione) Baudile

Theresa J. Baudile, 95, of Girard, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 29, 2019, at her home. Theresa was born March 23, 1924, in Girard, Ohio, the daughter of Carmelo and Giacomine (Sato) Scaglione. Theresa had worked for Girard City Schools, as a custodian, for 30 years. She was a member of St. Rose Church, Girard Senior Citizens and Girard Multi Generational Center. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children; Laura "Penny" Monteneri, of Girard, Daniel J. (Laurie) Baudile, of Pittsburgh, Pa, and Angela (Frank) Buonavolonta, of Girard, a brother, Charles Scaglione, of Palm Dale, California, grandchildren; Carla Coulter, Greg Coulter, Dominic Monteneri, Megan Baudile, Jennifer Buonavolonta, Joey Bounavolonta, Lea Bounavolonta, and Steven Engster, and great-grandchildren; Michael Coulter and Francesca Reed. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Dominic Baudile, whom she married September 1, 1945 and passed away on July 26, 2006, her son, Larry C. Baudile, her sisters; Rose Lamancusa, Barbara Laratta, Mildred Julian and Bessie Fabry, and her brothers; Gus, Joe and Angelo Scaglione. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 3rd, 11:00 AM at St. Rose Church, preceded by a prayer service at 10:30 AM at Blackstone Funeral Home. The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday from 4-7 PM at the funeral home. Theresa will be laid to rest at Girard City Cemetery next to her husband.
