Obituary

Thomas “Tom” K. Morris, 84, of McDonald, passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2022. Tom was born September 7, 1938 in Youngstown, OH, a son to John and Catherine (Sanderson) Booth. Tom attended Girard High School and was a lifelong resident of Girard. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Tom had worked for McDonald Steel and later Packard Electric, where he was known as "The Goose".

In his spare time Tom enjoyed bowling, fishing,  playing bingo, listening to 50's and 60's music, and was an old car enthusiast. He loved being in the outdoors, and was an animal lover. Tom was an avid fan of the  Kansas City Chiefs and the Cleveland Indians. But most of all Tom enjoyed his time with his family and being a "Papa" to his grandson Steven.

Tom will be greatly missed by his daughter, Kim Garland of Mcdonald; grandson, Steven Garland; brother, Eddy ( Eileen) Morris of KS; nephew, Shawn Morris; and his beloved dogs, Zeus and Jax.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his nephew, Tommy Morris; and foster brothers, Fred, Charlie and Robert Morris.

Private graveside services will be held for the family at Kerr Cemetery.
